Studied and reproduced a Gaussian Deformation Field Network with HexPlane Encoding by thoroughly understanding the paper's theoretical foundations and implementing the full pipeline in Google Colab.
Implemented training and inference workflows using PyTorch, gaining hands-on experience with neural field representations, memory–compute trade-offs, and performance profiling.
Recreated and experimented with a state-of-the-art 3D vision research model, analyzing architectural choices, optimization strategies, and limitations for potential real-world deployment.
